BOLT ON Technology is an automotive software company helping independent auto repair shops market, communicate, and engage with their customers through text messaging, text to pay, advertising, digital vehicle inspections, operations, review management, and more.
THE CHALLENGE
Having been around for many years and being the original digital vehicle inspection company, BOLT ON was facing an issue of stale marketing and slowing leads. With a growing market of competitors and new technologies, BOLT ON was in need of a new plan and new, fresh marketing.
THE SOLUTION
In order to tackle the slowing lead generation, HIVE Strategy worked with BOLT ON to two new campaigns — a foundational campaign where we tackled technical and content-based SEO, content creation, design, call-to-action refinement, and persona refinement; as well as a Better Together campaign where we focused on content around their different tools including media outreach, press, content creation, social media, video, email, development, and advertising.

By implementing these campaigns, we were able to see tremendous growth very quickly. We saw a 200% increase in leads generated which did not include new leads that were a result of the BDR team, import, or direct traffic — surpassing our initial goal by 170%! We also saw a 272% increase in inbound demos booked. This was a major focus of our calls-to-action and a major trigger for purchase. We surpassed our initial goal by 242%!
Through the first five months of working together, we saw a marketing impacted revenue return on investment (ROI) of 411% and a marketing created revenue ROI of 139%. That means that our marketing impacted the closed won revenue equating to 411% of their investment in marketing and our marketing initiatives alone created the deals that resulted in revenue equating to 139% of their investment in marketing!
